Product Sourcing
Products are sourced as per client requirements and our Product Development team sources and send new designs and ideas to clients on a regular basis.
Our vendor matrix is deep and wide, policy is to source directly from the manufacturer who is the best fit for the customer. Our experience with several suppliers helps us source right product at right price.
Merchandising
Merchandising is the practice of promoting a product or brand through the use of advertising, promotions, and other marketing techniques.
We follow 5 P’s in our business:
- Planning: Establishing the goals and objectives of the merchandising strategy and developing a plan to achieve them.
- Positioning: Crafting a clear, compelling positioning statement that differentiates the product or service in the mind of the customer.
- Promotion: Developing and executing marketing tactics that will drive awareness and demand.
- Pricing: Setting the right price point to maximize profit and appeal to the target customer.
- Placement: Ensuring the product is placed in the right locations to maximize sales.
Quality Control
Quality Control itself is the specific process we use to achieve consistency with your finished products, and in this we work closely with you and the vendor. Our Quality team conduct inspections on your behalf at different stages of the production process and before your orders leave the factory to be shipped to you.
Sometimes clients will come to us just for independent third-party inspection provision where they do not need other elements of our end-to-end service.
- We follow the AQL standard 2.5, general level II that determines inspection volumes and will complete agreed inspection checklists to follow out the relevant tests. Should you have a specific requirement we need to be told and we can adapt to the same.
- Physical tests are used to conduct product quality; these might include product functionality and safety, stretch test and pull tests.
- Another key part of inspection is performing label checks. We ensure that each product has the correct information on the label, such as care instructions and size.
- We will also check inner and outer cartons so that it meets your specified requirements and ensure that the barcode on the product can be scanned.
All of this together gives a detailed quality control package that ensures you are compliant with regulations and meet your brand’s highest standards.
Logistics
Logistics is the process of planning and execution to ensure your goods get from the point of origin to where you need them to be. You may want the products shipped ‘ex works or ‘FOB’. We work with you and the vendor to ensure we meet your requirements in a timely, cost-effective manner.
- Our Logistics team will work with yours on the use of the right method to move the goods between factories, warehouses and on to you.
- We plan containers to ensure we are optimising the use of container space with every shipment that goes to you.
- Transportation can include ocean, air, rail and roads. This is a complex process that involves a lot of knowledge in planning, shipment loads, freight auditing and payment
Until the goods are at your port we keep an eye on the shipment to ensure it reaches you on time.
